pure Cellular Automata [1993]

“PURE CELLULAR AUTOMATA”
The simulation of a cellular automaton modifies the state of the cells. Living cells may die or dead ones return to life, provided the state of the adjoining cells permits one or the other. Exactly what happens relies on the individual rules. Over several generations, growth assumes certain structures, selfreproduction takes place, cells, or groups of cells, move, alter their state – or they do not.
